Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Casa Gaia in Capri, I was impressed by the balance of value and luxury it offers. The villa presents a well-tended garden and cozy interiors, making it a charming spot to unwind. As a marine biologist and scuba instructor, comfort is important to me, and the spacious room, equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, met my needs. The shared kitchen was a nice touch for someone like me who enjoys a cup of Italian espresso in the morning, and the complimentary toiletries were organic, a nod to sustainable practices. I also appreciated the luggage storage option after check-out, allowing us to enjoy a stress-free day exploring the island. Gisella was hospitable and provided a useful map; her recommendations made our Caprese experience much richer. The walk to Capri takes roughly 15 minutes, which is manageable, especially after spending the day diving in crystal-clear waters. Casa Gaia strikes a good balance between comfort and cost, making it an attractive option for travelers keen on enjoying Capri without overspending. It’s a place I’d certainly consider for my next visit.
